Press Conference Photography for the PERAS Project
Some events only happen once, and there is no second chance to capture them.
I was invited to photograph the PERAS press conference in Katerini shortly before the event. The conference introduced Nikos' upcoming 24-hour open water swim, a project exploring endurance, resilience and the limits of the human body.
Because the event was filmed professionally, moving freely around the room wasn’t always possible. Every position had to be chosen carefully to avoid blocking the video cameras. At the same time, I had to manage my camera battery throughout the event, turning the camera on only when the right moment appeared.
Despite these limitations, the final gallery captured both the atmosphere of the event and the interaction between journalists, organisers and the speaker. The organisers were happy with the final photographs, which is always the best result after a fast-paced assignment.

I’d be happy to help document your event professionally and unobtrusively.
